New Model Olsen Already Getting All the Roles, 3-D Gets Taken to Task, and More

January 24, 2011

- That bonus Olsen, "Elizabeth," we just learned the existence of thanks to her highly-praised Sundance debut in Martha Marcy May Marlene? She's already accepted an offer to acting alongside Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, and Cillian Murphy in Buried director Rodrigo Cortes's next, Red Lights. Hope that makes up for being left out of Billboard Dad.

- Well-respected film editor Walter Murch sent Roger Ebert a thorough, convincing explanation of why this 3-D shit shouldn't be happening. And he's right! Unfortunately, he offers no alternative for tacking a few bucks onto ticket prices, so it's ultimately pointless.

- James Gandolfini is reteaming with Sopranos creator David Chase, and will play a '60s dad at odds with his son's infatuation with the rock music in the feature film Twylight Zones. Was The Outyr Limits already taken?
