Nov 3 2008 'High School Musical' Still Most Publicy Viewed Moving Picture
For all you film statisticians: weekend box office numbers!
1. High School Musical 3: Senior Year - $15 million. Now that Disney has figured out their television programming can make so much money in theaters, the studio's production schedule has been cleared and replaced with plans for five The Suite Life of Zack & Cody films.
2. Zack and Miri Make a Porno - $10.7 million, proving that watching pornography creation will never replace staying home, enjoying already-made pornography.
3. Saw V - $10.1 million, a significant drop as many people decide to just wait and see Saw VI next weekend.
4. Changeling - $9.4 million. You know how this could have made more? If instead of the LAPD replacing Angelina Jolie's child with another boy, they replaced him with a talking, CGI rabbit, and the title was Somebunny Else's Baby.
5. The Haunting of Molly Hartley - $6 million. Usually a Halloween weekend horror movie would have bigger numbers, but in this case, High School Musical 3 was a more chilling option.

Oct 27 2008 'Senior Year' Wins Box Office, Because Seniors RULE
The weekend box office numbers are in!
1. High School Musical 3: Senior Year - Yeesh, $42 million? I'm sensing a High School Musical: The College Years, High School Musical: The New Class, High School Musical: Hawaiian Style, and a High School Musical: Wedding in Las Vegas can't be far behind.
2. Saw V - $30.5 million, and now millions of people know a few more elaborate and painful ways to murder you.
3. Max Payne - Whups, just $7.6 million. The only thing emptier than the seats was Wahlberg's performance! I just got you so bad, Wahlberg.
4. Beverly Hills Chihuahua - Since dropping another two spots with only $6.9 million, I've switched my take on talking dogs from a "don't buy" to a "sell."
5. Pride & Glory - Of course it only made $6.3 million; who can relate to pride or glory? You want to get people in the seats, make Shame & Self-Pity.

Aug 29 2008 'Saw V' Poster: This Guy's Head is in a Box
Does it end with the audience's deafening sigh, composed of equal parts exasperation and relief? I bet it does.
Jun 27 2008 'Saw V' Poster, Because Yes, 'Saw V' is Still Happening
Saw V? Man, they are really stretching this series out like it's the skin of Tobin Bell being stretched over someone's face as a mask. I don't know where I got that simile. It just came to me. (Thanks for the tip, Dan.)
