If you still can't get enough of seeing Sam Worthington's wheelchairing and blue cat people with glowing freckles, here's a relatively new trailer for Avatar. I guess it was run during Fox's last airing of Glee, so it's as old as whenever it is Glee is on. I'll have to check which day on my calendar is marked with a hand doing an "L" thing.

Imagine if Hercules: The Legendary Journeys had just a few thousand more dollars in its budget. How many extra eight or nine hours Kevin Sorbo could have afforded to spend in the gym; how many tens of more extras could have been employed; how much slightly more realistic the giant CGI scorpions might have appeared; how they could have maybe got Liam Neeson to do a brief cameo to slam his fist on something. Wouldn't that have been pretty mediocre?

The film's first trailer has finally been released, so now you can see what all the fanboy catcalls were all about. I guess the game changing part is that this is the first forest species to look slightly more convincing than Ewoks?

I'm still not entirely clear on all the finer plot details of James Cameron's Avatar, but looking at this new shot and the blue creature's hand positioning, I'm going to guess the focus is on the U.S. military breeding a test tube-born super-being specifically for the purpose of playing the alto sax.
If that ends up not being the plot, let's make that movie. The Kenny Gene?

Jun 2 2009 Marcus Wright Armored Up for 'Clash of the Titans'
Ostensibly from the newest issue of Empire, the first production photo from Clash of the Titans has shown up on /Film. The image depicts a scowling Sam Worthington portraying Perseus, or, as I like to call him, "What I imagined my character in the 1996 PC game Diablo looked like in real life."
Hopefully new shots will soon emerge that reveal why Worthington is so pissed at this hand.
May 11 2009 Something for Fans of 'Terminator Salvation' and Grease-Soaked Pan Pizzas
Thanks to a partnership between Pizza Hut and Warner Bros. (as a "Hut" rep explained: "Pizza Hut's iconic red Hut may not be as intimidating as the Terminator's red eye, but pizza and movies are time-tested favorites"), the Book-It sponsor has just released a new clip with behind-the-scenes footage from Terminator Salvation.
Director McG introduces it, explaining it's for "Pizza Hut and Terminator fans" (i.e., everyone) and adds, "You're about to see the Harvester attacking humanity," so I was expecting a giant robot going on a long diatribe about man's war-like ways and tendencies towards greed and destruction, but it ended up being more exciting than that. Gas tanker-exploding exciting!:

This trailer really lays all the cards on the table. John Connor confronting his Terminator buddy; Terminator motorcycles; Terminator Bears fighting Terminator Gorillas; a Terminator punching a guy so hard he lands on the sun; the 1st Annual Terminator Dog Show; a smaller Terminator skeleton within a larger Terminator skeleton; Terminator Buddha; just everything.
I can't imagine there are many surprises left for the film after this trailer, but still, kind of awesome:

Watchmen has some competition in the ridiculously excessive number of posters market. Here's another variation of the Batman-Worthington-Terminator motif, now with more heavenly aura, from IGN.
One thing I'll say about Terminators is, even if they are trying to exterminate the human race through a combination of brute force and covert operations, it's nice how they're always smiling.

Aug 4 2008 New 'Terminator Salvation' Someone Facing Someone Else Shot
Terminator Salvation is going to be so awesome. I hear there's this one scene where John Connor, played by Christian Bale, and this other guy, played by this other guy, totally look directly towards one another, and there aren't even any Terminator robots present to distract from the intense staring. It's going to be the best scene in the entire series.
