Jan 27 2009 'G.I. Joe' Posters Using Classic Leather/Sparks/Debris Combo
Paramount has released five new posters for the G.I. Joe movie. Their concept: poorly-framed characters on the set of a car commercial, and things are blowing up. Enjoy:

Apr 18 2008 Remaining 'G.I. Joe' Character Shots Revealed
IMAGE REMOVED AT REQUEST OF Paramount Picture Corporation Properties
In a flood of black spandex and patent leather, the remaining character shots from G.I. Joe have arrived at WWTD. The series of awkwardly-posed shots give us a first look at the costumes for Duke (spandex with some panels strapped to it, faint goatee), Roadblock (same), Cover Girl (Halloween USA's Sexy Militant costume), Storm Shadow (an '80s coke dealer's couch as a biker jacket), Baroness (a formfitting tacky purse), and Hawk (leather jacket drenched in self-loathing). Looking at them did nothing to inject any confidence in the project, but it was pretty worthwhile to see supermodel Karolina Korkova and Dennis Quaid compete for Best Come-Hither Over-the-Shoulder glance.
Apr 16 2008 First Look at Scarlett: 'G.I. Joe' Might Slightly Alter Our Childhood Memories!
When I was a kid, G.I. Joe's Scarlett wore a mock turtleneck with a one-piece yellow swimsuit thing over it. She was also 3 and 3/4 inches high, and starred as the subject of numerous lurid fantasies. Now look at this, a full grown woman in black spandex and body armor. My point? That her outfit is slightly different than in my vague memories, and I am pissed.

Apr 15 2008 First Look at Scarlett's Curves in 'G.I. Joe'
IMAGE REMOVED AT REQUEST OF PARAMOUNT PICTURES
Could this be our first peek at the Tron-like future of Curves Bust Enhancers? No, sadly it isn't. The above image comes from IESB, where a reader sent along this first look at G.I. Joe's famously-red-haired heroine, Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), standing alongside her body armor.
You should have known it couldn't be the future of Curves; the future of Curves is now.
Dec 19 2007 'G.I. Joe' Adds Two More Poor Souls to Its Cast
Remember when casting a G.I. Joe movie was a conversation you had while staging elaborate plastic battles in your living room? For better or worse (probably worse), that childish dream is now a reality, and two new names have been added to the cast of the actual G.I. Joe movie being made for unknown reasons.
Korean star Lee Byung-hun will play the role of Storm Shadow, while Rachel Nichols (you know, from The Amityville Horror remake and her upcoming role as Charlie's Angel #3 in Charlie Wilson's War) is taking on Scarlett. If you've forgotten since childhood, or the last action figure convention you attended, Storm Shadow is the cool ninja guy (the one in white, not the other cool ninja guy), and Scarlett is the one you always said you wanted to "do" (the one with red hair, not the other ones you said you'd do).
I suppose these choices seem reasonable enough, but with The Mummy guy directing, does it really matter?
