Apr 8 2009 Mischa Barton is: 'WALLED IN'
Working for a demolitions company is such hard work. Daddy has only just made Mischa Barton a partner and already she has to temporarily live in the building she's demolishing, because that's something demolishers do. They always move in for a bit before imploding anything. What if it turns out this building is really great, and therefore should not be demolished? It's like when a priest wants to have a few meetings with the couple before marrying them. But anyway, unbeknownst to our hero, the building's walls contain secrets. Straight-to-video horror movie-style secrets!
Here's the trailer. As a warning, I think there's a spoiler shot that reveals Mischa Barton does, in fact, get walled in:
Oct 17 2007 'Finding t.A.T.u.' Preview Has Unfortunately Been Found
You can tell immediately from the YouTube description, which seems to feel experimental lesbianism at a t.A.T.u. concert is a natural segue into murder, that you're in for a treat with Finding t.A.T.u. To quote the summary:
Two teenage girls, Janie who is American and Lana who is Russian, fall in love after meeting at a t.A.T.u concert and are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder.
The clip itself, luckily, realizes the need for more fluid transitions, using such 8th grade A/V club classics as the clock hand wipe (implying cheesy time has passed), the screen flip (it turns out video is much like a coin, with an image on both sides), and the rotating approach (just plain awesome). These futuristic video effects seamlessly connect lengthy clips of people dancing at a rave, driving cars, and working at a butcher shop, keeping you so riveted that you'll barely notice that the majority of the dialog is delivered through vocalized text messaging.
As a bonus, try imagining the clips being reenacted by The Kids in the Hall. It's suddenly a much more palatable movie.
