Aug 26 2009 Megan Fox is Catwoman, Unless 'The Sun' Somehow Has Their Facts Wrong/Fabricated
British tabloid The Sun is reporting that Megan Fox has been cast as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's follow-up to The Dark Knight, cleverly adding that they have "a strong feline she is the purrfect choice for the part." To sum things up for those of you who haven't been following every British tabloid casting announcement, the part of Catwoman will now be played by the ensemble of Angelina Jolie, Cher, Miley Cyrus, Julie Newmar, an actual cat, a CGI cat, a lab-created, actual cat-woman, a lady who just owns a lot of cats, Eddie Murphy, and Megan Fox.

Yahoo Movies has premiered the first poster for comic book adaptation Jonah Hex, comfirming that, a) Megan Fox is still useful for providing cleavage and pouty, slightly-parted lips, particularly when several of her ribs have been removed, and, b) apparently every single action movie of the next year is going to star a man dressed like he's in a '90s Tom Petty video. Good to know.

I question the validity of this story, but if it is indeed true, Michael Bay is even worse than we thought. Director of some our most expensive stupid movies and egregious sexual harrasser?
U.K. broadcaster Jason Solomons wrote in a recent column that Bay had Ms. Megan Fox wash his (unspecified) Ferrari at his home as part of her audition for her role in the first Transformers movie. And since Bay was doing "official" auditions, he apparently recorded every minute of it.Solomons reportedly asked Fox if she knew where the footage was, and he says she was unsure where the footage was, adding that she was "concerned" as to where it may be. According to Solomons, Bay all but confirmed the tape's existence, allegedly saying "Er, I don't know where it is either" when asked by the broadcaster.
Well, I guess it's not that big of a deal by Hollywood standards, when you consider the things (handjobs) I'm sure many actresses have had to do to get parts. And, come to think of it, this isn't that unusual; I've actually had to wash a car for a job, too. That job was "washing someone's car."

Have you seen the new trailer that has everyone saying, "Shit, dude, did you see that trailer where Megan Fox is naked (inasmuch as Alanis Morisette was naked in that music video where she was sort of naked)?" I don't actually know if anyone is saying that, but I assume they will after they see this trailer for Diablo Cody's Mean Girls-with-demon-possession horror-comedy, Jennifer's Body. You know how people talk, with their vocal excitement about seeing Megan Fox nearly naked, and their references to Alanis Morisette any time a woman's hair is the only thing covering her breasts.

Jun 30 2009 Megan Fox Indulges Cheerleader Fantasies
Part of her plan to indulge every classic sex fantasy a man could have, Megan Fox, just seen playing a babe mechanic in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, will soon be seen playing a babe cheerleader in the Diablo Cody-written horror-comedy Jennifer's Body (big Hole fan, I guess?), and Film School Rejects has some Empire Magazine scans from the film.
Fox will soon be seen as a corset-wearing Wild West prostitute in Hex, so now she has only to play a Catholic school girl and a pigtailed milkmaid to complete her mission and return to her home planet. (It's one of those scantily-clad lady planets from Star Trek, obviously.)

For those too self-righteous to watch an awards show where Twilight is treated like Gone with the Wind but also still immature enough to want to see a clip of giant robots smashing shit, here's the Transformers 2 scene shown at the MTV Movie Awards last night. You won't believe how hard it is for several massive sentient machines and a couple robot animals to catch two humans. Really, you absolutely won't believe it. You might even shout at your screen, "Jesus, just fucking stomp on them, you're the size of a building!"

Coming Soon has some shots of Megan Fox having her guts crushed in the name of idealized womanhood on the set of Jonah Hex. In the comic book adaptation, Fox continues taking roles that used to go by Jessica Biel by playing a prostitute love interest to Josh Brolin's Hex.
Audiences will surely be measuring the success of their Wild West romance against the epitome of the such an affair, the love/hate relationship of Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster in Maverick, so these guys had better nail it.

This news will make a handsome giftset with the Ratner-directing-Youngblood revelation in the category of Awful Comics Being Brought to Life By Hollywood Talent So Blindingly Appropriate that Fans and Haters Alike Cannot Help But Resoundingly Approve. Megan Fox starring as the hot, raven-haired, oft-naked heroine of the comic book Fathom? That is not disagreeable, except for the part about a Fathom movie:
Megan Fox is ditching the robots and taking her career to Western and underwater frontiers.Fox is in final negotiations to star opposite Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in "Jonah Hex," Warner Bros.' action Western based on the DC Comics character. She also is attached to star and develop "Fathom," Fox Atomic's comic book-based underwater adventure.
In "Hex," being directed by Jimmy Hayward, Fox will play Leila, a gun-wielding beauty and love interest of Hex (Brolin), a scarred bounty hunter tracking a voodoo practitioner (Malkovich) who wants to raise an army of undead to liberate the South.
"Fathom," a comic created by recently deceased artist Michael Turner, follows a young woman named Aspen who learns she is a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who possess the ability to control water.
As for the Megan Fox-in-Jonah Hex news... I guess? I still don't know why Jonah Hex is being produced as a film. This is going to be the Pets.com of comic adaptations--the one that finally bursts the already thinly-stretched skin of the bubble. Sell your Comic Book Movie stock (CBM) now.
