May 5 2009 'Downloading Nancy' Now Being Marketed as Lost Godard Film

Forget that the trailer made it seem like a twisted, erotic thriller; forget that the name is evocative of a going-inside-the-internet, straight-to-video sequel to The Net; according to the new poster, Downloading Nancy is apparently now a French New Wave film. Just a quiet black & white piece in which an introspective woman considers the many loves of her life as she smokes on a train, because people are usually still allowed to smoke on trains.

OK, so let's say you see there's a trailer for a new Maria Bello movie, and all you know about this thing is that it's title is Downloading Nancy. Logically, wouldn't you expect the film to contain some variation of the above scene to happen? It only makes sense, right?

Oct 3 2007 'Mummy 3' Director Delivers Unsolicited Images

On his blog, RobCohenTheMummy.com (which sounds like a sad The Mummy fan's AOL screen name), director Rob Cohen has posted some images from The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. As the name implies, the film hopes to capitalize on the vague American interest in Asian culture created by Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirts and Chinese lanterns by introducing Jet Li as an Asian mummy.

Above is the first image of Maria Bello as Evelyn. If you're anything like me, your reaction will be "who's Evelyn?" It turns out that was the role Rachel Weisz mercifully dropped after the first two Mummies. You probably know the part as "the big buffoon's British idiot girlfriend."
