Sep 29 2008 The Shia LaBeouf Movie Made More Money Than Other, Non-Shia LaBeouf Movies
The amount of money (in dollars) earned by various films last weekend is as follows:
1. Eagle Eye - Someone asked me what this was about the other day and I told them I think it's Shia LeBeouf reenacting the first half-hour of the The Matrix as a full movie. Now that people have seen it, is that accurate? ($29.2 million)
2. Nights in Rodanthe - $13.6 million. Who knew there was such a market for menoporn? (Answer: lonely mothers.)
3. Lakeview Terrace - $7 million, thought I'm positive it would be making even more if they'd just gone with my title, Samuel L. Jackson's RACIST COP.
4. Fireproof - $6.5 million! The Fireproof Action Squads worked! How does that make you feel?
5. Burn After Reading - Despite a 44% drop to $6.2 million, it's still maintaining a hefty audience lead over actually reading.

Sep 22 2008 People Were Loving 'Lakeview Terrace' This Weekend
People paid to see these movies over the weekend:
1. Lakeview Terrace - $15.6 million. Maybe we should start making every Lifetime Original Movie concept into a Samuel L. Jackson film.
2. Burn After Reading - $11.3 million--the best take ever for a movie about ocular chlamydia.
3. My Best Friend's Girl - Congratulations, Dane Cook, you got people to pay you for playing an even worse version of yourself again. ($8.3 million)
4. Igor - Sorry, Igor 2: HumpBack 2 the Castle, you just got cancelled. ($8 million)
5. Righteous Kill - $7.7 million. That's fine, though. The studios will make all their money in merchandising when Righteous Kill shirts become the Scarface shirts for the old, retired thug crowd.

Jul 23 2008 Ohhhh Yeah: The 'Lakeview Terrace' Poster
In what seems like a made-for-TV movie based on a true story, Samuel L. Jackson stars as a cop living inside the peaceful community of Lakeview Terrace. But here's the kicker: he hates interracial couples! So you can guess what he does when a couple with both black and white elements move to the neighborhood. I don't actually know, so seriously, guess. Solely based on the poster, I'm saying he drives past their house with his sunglasses lowered, blasting Yello's "Oh Yeah" at unreasonable volumes.
