May 30 2008 'The Good, the Bad, and the Weird' Trailer Replaces Ugliness with Weirdness
This Korean take on the Western genre is exactly how you'd think it would be: Koreanier. Also, it looks pretty good, and makes a pretty solid case for "throwing knifes at centipedes" to be the new "catching flies with chopsticks."
Aug 31 2007 Dragon Wars TV Spot
Most of the time, I'm really dubious of these ridiculous blockbuster action flicks with big budgets and over-the-top premises. Luckily, I don't consider a good and an evil dragon returning to earth and doing battle with our military an over-the-top premise, so I was free to enjoy this 30-second preview's dragon vs. man vs. dragon battle with no inhibitions. I suggest you do the same.
Jul 26 2007 Domestic Dragon Wars Trailer Not as Much Fun

The domestic trailer for D-War/Dragon Wars (jeez, pick a title, guys) is out, and I have to admit that it's not nearly as intriguing as the teaser I posted a few months ago. On the plus side, it does have the bouncer guy from Knocked Up.
God, CGI has really ruined the B-movie, hasn't it? Remember when bad movies would have to use prosthetics, makeup, and goofy costumes, and have to shoot the scenes in creative ways to disguise their low budget and lack of locations? Not anymore! Thanks to the magic of computers, every crappy movie can have big city backdrops and video game-looking bad guys! Jeez guys, just 'cause you can doesn't mean you should. But then I guess asking B-movie makers to have taste and restraint is like asking Anne Hathaway not to have fantasies about me.
Jun 13 2007 Imoogi vs. The Gigantoraptor
Anyone else think it's strangely coincidental that the D-War trailer and the Gigantoraptor were discovered on the same day? It could mean that a giant bird lizard showdown is in order.
Oh, did anyone notice that there were knights in that trailer? What the f***?
