Oct 29 2009 'The Box' Poster: Cameron Diaz by Carnival Airbrush Artist
How did this happen? She looks like Ann from Arrested Development as a colorized prison tattoo.

Jul 17 2009 Final 'The Box' Poster: Less Diaz, More Cyclops and Skeletor
Looking much like its poster predecessor, which already looked like the From Hell poster, the final The Box one-sheet turned up today on director Richard Kelly's Twitter machine.
If I were less mature, I'd try to make some joke about Cameron Diaz's "box" and the bloody streak down the image's center, but since I'm no longer in junior high, I'll just say "vagina" and "period stains" and let you connect the dots.
Jun 25 2009 'The Box' Trailer: Deal... or MURDER?
Exploiting America's eternal love for the simplistic mechanics of Howie Mandel's Pick-a-Box, Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly has made a new film involving idiots pressing a plunger for a million dollars. Similar to the game show in more than just its button pushing, The Box asks its players to answer a tough yes-or-no question: if Frank Langella-with-a-bite-out-of-his-face told you that a single button push would kill someone far away that you don't know, and that pushing it would make you a millionaire, and also you're Cameron Diaz, what would you do?
Personally, my policy has always been to immediately push any button put within reach before anyone can explain its function, thus exonerating me from any possible moral dilemmas, but maybe you'll come up with another plan after seeing this trailer:
Apr 23 2009 Cyclops Will, if Necessary, Slam Bear Traps on Intruders
Home Alone for adults has its star. James Marsden has been cast as the lead in Rod Lurie's remake of the 1971 Dustin Hoffman classic Straw Dogs:
James Marsden will star in Screen Gems' reimagining of the 1971 thriller "Straw Dogs" being written and directed by Rod Lurie. The new "Straw Dogs" follows Los Angeles screenwriter David Sumner (Marsden), who moves with his wife to her hometown in the deep South. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, leading to a violent confrontation.
The original, co-written and directed by Sam Peckinpah, saw Dustin Hoffman in the role of Sumner, with the story set in rural England.
Both films are based on the book "The Siege at Trencher's Farm" by Gordon Williams.
Alright, that works. Now might I suggest the Blue Collar Comedy Tour crew as the savage locals? Those guys breaking into a home, Bill Engvall violently wielding "your sign" of his "Here's your sign" bit fame, would be so terrifying. And who wouldn't want to see Larry Cable Guy get hot oil thrown across his face and exposed arms? Get THAT done, mofo! Standing ovation time.
Jun 18 2008 'Sex Drive' Poster Shouldn't Be
What business does this have existing outside of the early '80s? Or at all, for that matter?

Oct 4 2007 '27 Dresses' Trailer Teaches Important Values
As an actor, how do you follow-up a fun, raunchy take on the romantic-comedy genre like Knocked Up? If you're Katherine Heigl, the answer is simple: with an obnoxious, typical romantic-comedy that reminds women they'll only ever find validation through marriage.
In the trailer for 27 Dresses, the old adage "always the bridesmaid, never the bride" is stretched as far as humanly possible, with Heigl playing a woman who's been a bridesmaid in 27 weddings but still can't find a man to quit her job and cook dinner for. Instead of showing us the more interesting story of what mental or physical dysfunction is keeping this seemingly attractive woman from reaching her life's goal, we're tortured with clip after clip of people speaking in redundant plot-points or stilted, asinine dialog we're meant to take as flirting. It's awful.
Also, does anyone know what this "hot hate sex" referred to in the trailer is? Two of those words make sense together, but the whole "hate" part is new to me. Is that hating someone so much you f*** them, like Leia with Han Solo, or is it just more punching during the act?
