Dec 3 2007 Another Box Office Win for 'Enchanted'
1. Enchanted - Audiences are enchanted by Enchanted, making it the number one comedy in America for two straight weeks! I assume that's what the commercials will be saying all this week, and every week (with updated week counts), until something even blander comes along to take its spot. ($17 million.)
2. This Christmas - It made another $8.4 million, yet I still don't know anyone who is even remotely aware of this movie. (Note: I'm only friends with racists.)
3. Beowulf - Boring, Olde English epic poetry at its best: in 3-D with creepy-as-shit pseudo-humans! That's why it made another $7.9 million.
4. Awake - Despite having even worse reviews than the god-awful video game assassin movie, it still made $6 million.
5. Hitman - The god-awful video game assassin movie made $5.8 million.

Nov 26 2007 'Enchanted' Wins Weekend Box Office
1. Enchanted - Weren't Elf, Crocodile Dundee, Jungle 2 Jungle, and whatever similar movies I'm forgetting enough to satiate the public desire for the out-of-place-wacko-in-New-York genre? The $35.3 million Enchanted made says not quite.
2. This Christmas - Audiences paid $18.6 million to learn that Delroy Lindo's Christmas was nowhere near as eventful as Chevy Chase's.
3. Beowulf - A 41% drop to $16.2 million indicates the haunting, soulless eyes of animated mannequins might not be as inviting as previously thought.
4. Hitman - Coming in with a relatively disappointing $13 million, maybe this is evidence that video games don't necessarily make the best movies. But let's try a few dozen more times before we stop.
5 Bee Movie - Still pulling in $12 million after a month, thanks to Jerry Seinfeld's nightly visits to every home in America, dressed as a bee, when he quietly whispers lines of dialog into slumbering ears.

Oct 25 2007 AM Poster Post: 'Hitman' International Poster
Judging by this latest poster, rather than admit Hitman's story is pulled from a video game, the studios prefer it looks like it's based on:
- An ad for expensive liquor.
- A hip-hop album cover.
- Airbrushed chrome.
- Staring.

Sep 4 2007 Hitman Poster
Latino Review brings us the latest poster for Hitman, starring Timothy Olyphant as the eponymous video game character. Fans will be pleased with how closely the lighting and pose mimic the game's packaging. Fans of candy-apple red ties will be pleased that their flashy accessory is finding popularity. Fans of baldness will be pleased that he's very bald. Fans of hiding their faces in shadow, possibly due to deformity or scarring, will still not be pleased, as it seems nothing will please these ugly freaks but a new head.

Aug 24 2007 Hitman Trailer B
There's something about this Hitman movie, and possibly the video game that I've never played, that's trying so desperately to be bad-ass that it's pathetic. The black suit, the unchanging demeanor, the slow deliberate movements, the bar code on his neck? What, were they out of trenchcoats and sunglasses? Give me a break.
Aug 16 2007 New Hitman Photo
USA Today has a new shot of Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman movie. And wow does he look weird. I know Agent 47 is supposed to be a laboratory-manufactured assassin, but it looks like they hired a goblin to play him. A goblin with the world's tiniest head. A bold move, since I was under the impression they'd go the conventional route and have him played by a person.

Aug 10 2007 Hitman teaser poster
MovieWeb has the teaser poster for the new Hitman movie which comes out October 12th. I'm a pretty big fan of the game, but the teaser trailer makes the movie look like it strays from the video game's silent assassin theme. My hopes are high, but judging from the poster, Agent 47 really needs to invest in a new wall. Or at least turn down the lights in the next room.
EDIT: Added a picture from the Hitman: Blood Money game which the poster is based off of after the jump.
Jun 26 2007 Hitman Teaser Trailer
I appreciate that they've thrown some choral music over the new trailer for Hitman to dull the blow of stupidity, but I can still tell it's retarded. Just like church.
