Nov 9 2009 SNL Reveals the Sexy World of Frankenstein's Monsters
What happens if you replace all the vampires in Twilight with Frakensteins? As you'll see in this trailer, not all that much, really. Just slightly different body paint:

May 27 2009 'Paul' Puts Together Comedy Supergroup
The Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz teaming of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in a sci-fi buddy comedy directed by Superbad/Adventureland director Greg Mottola. That's the line-up for Paul, and that's already a pretty promising movie. I'll pack up the family and see that one. But that deal just got a little sweeter, friends. Variety is reporting Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Jane Lynch (the tall, short-haired blonde mole from Arrested Development and other funny things) and half the Adventureland cast have been added as well:
Universal and Working Title Films have added Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch to the cast of "Paul."Pegg and Frost, who wrote the script, will play two science-fiction fanatics on a road trip whose conspiracy dreams come true when they trek to Area 51 and encounter the title character, an escaped alien.
Rogen will provide the voice of the alien.
This thing is really shaping up to become what we "in the business" call "a movie with funny, talented screenwriters, a proven director, and a strong, genre-appropriate cast." Let's all see it opening weekend in select cities.
Feb 2 2009 'Night at the Museum 2' Poster is 'OK'
Or so the Lincoln Memorial tells me! It would be less obnoxious if they had Lincoln in a backwards cap, lowering his sunglasses as he jumped a skateboard over the cast. I mean, if we're going to have a statue of the Great Emancipator doing something stupid, then let's gets nuts with it.

Jan 21 2009 A New Horror/Comedy from the Guys Who Brought You 'Knocked Up'!
Judd Apatow is producing a slasher film? YES. I wouldn't make such an sophisticated, detailed graphic if that weren't the case. CHUD ran into Bill Hader at Sundance, where the SNL star revealed he and Simon Rich have written a horror/comedy that they aren't sure will ever get made:
Says Bill: 'It's partially Straw Dogs meets Halloween meets Home Alone meets Monster Squad.' It's hard to argue against that.'I don't know if it's even going to get made,' Hader told me. 'Judd met with us and said "I want to do a horror movie with you. I want to see you in a slasher movie."'
Straw Dogs meets Halloween meets Home Alone meets Monster Squad? So like a babysitter is forced to use bear traps and paint cans-on-ropes to defend a home from every classic movie monster at once? There's genuinely nothing negative to say about that as a concept.
Nov 20 2008 'Night at the Museum 2' Looks So Much Crazier Than Days at the Museum
Ben Stiller is still guarding that wacky, magic museum. He'll never learn! It's Night at the Museum 2! USA Today has a series of shots from the film, including Bill Hader as Gen. Custer, Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart, Hank Azaria as Pharaoh Kahmunrah, Christopher Guest as Ivan the Terrible, and Jonah Hill as Fellow Security Guard. Find humor in seeing celebrities as historical figures while you can, because you won't be laughing when it's in a remake of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Dec 20 2007 More Apatow Funny With 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' Trailer
Dare I say, Judd Apatow has done it again? In the tradition of Knocked Up and Superbad, Apatow and his crew look to have created yet another comedy full of goofy situations and characters that still remain true-to-life enough to stay believable and absolutely relatable. With both Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Pineapple Express coming in the next year, it's nearly forgivable that he's also involved in the Zohan thing. At least until I'm exposed to it again.
