Oct 21 2008 'Days of Wrath' Trailer: Let Fez Teach You About Gang Life
The streets of LA can be rough when you're a former That '70s Show cast member doing a terrible gang movie. That's what you'll learn in Days of Wrath, a film in which Wilmer Valderrama plays a serious actor playing a loose cannon street tough, with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Laurence Fishburne, and Taye Diggs also making regretful appearances.
It seems like most recent movies seem to blow all the best stuff in the trailer. If that remains true, these are the best parts of Days of Wrath:
"I ain't lettin' nobody stop my grind... especially Mario."
"Haven't ya heard? I'm fuckin' immortal."
"It's like this city is Sunni and Shiite."
That dramatic Requiem for a Dream song, which informs me when things are dramatic.

While it's a fairly obvious poster design for a movie about MIT students taking on blackjack, I am somewhat surprised they withheld the faces of big stars Kevin Spacey and Laurence Fishburne in order to focus on a genetic hybrid of Jared Leto and Millionaire-era Regis Philbin.

Nov 19 2007 '21' Trailer Reveals Las Vegas is Really Crazy
With the upcoming What Happens in Vegas..., the Friends episode where they all go to Vegas, the TV show Las Vegas, the commercials touting that events happening in Vegas don't count towards your regular morality, and countless other glamorous depictions of the "Sin City," I'm getting a bit bored with the concept of "Woo! Look at all the crazy shit that happens in Vegas!"
21, the semi-true story of MIT students counting cards and making millions under the tutelage of a professor, looks to add little to the genre, and even leaves out the requisite shotgun wedding, seating it one crucial element below The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. I think they'd have been better off sticking closer to the real-life story instead of a film school student's vision of Good Will Hunting-meets-Ocean's Thirteen.

Laurence Fishburne and an independent production company have bought the rights to the movie version of Paulo Coelho's novel The Alchemist. Fishburne wrote the script and is also set to direct.
He directs AND writes! And to think, all this time I just thought he had a soothing voice, strong yet gentle hands, and a substantial, but not unapproachable male endowment.
