Making good on their promise to continue Leprechaun's momentous rainbow arc from the heights of space back down to where it all started, WWE Studios has hired a scribe to craft their reboot of the Leprechaun series. The film will be written by the largely-unknown Harris Wilkinson, who apparently sold a spec script to Paramount last year and developed a pilot with Len Wiseman the year before, but since we haven't seen those things come to light, he's just the dude writing a Leprechaun remake for now.

Last night, on WWE's Monday Night Raw, the Three Stooges (as played by Three Stooges stars Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos, naturally) appeared to promote their Friday release. And, just as when the Three Stooges cast previously appeared at a NASCAR event, the surprise arrival of a group of impressionists mostly confused and/or angered spectators just there to reaffirm a stereotype about the kind of person who likes NASCAR/professional wrestling. It was an incredibly painful sight, hugely uncomfortable from the moment the Stooges for some reason emerged from a shipping crate, to the moment Sasso begins doing his impression of Curly doing an impression of Hulk Hogan, to the point when Larry goads to "get out here" and "keep going, yeah," and you realize how unclear it is if he's urging on Curly or a suddenly-aware, increasingly-reluctant Sasso. You will be so grateful when Curly is mercifully cold-cocked, and your awkward gaze can shift to a sign reading "I ♥ CENA MORE THAN MY HUSBAND." Compared to the ill-received antics of the Three Stooges, such depressing, grappling-born infidelity is a welcomed relief.
