Offering a more light-hearted look at the zombie apocalypse than the one found bundled in Brad Pitt's kerchief, here's the trailer for 50/50 director Jonathan Levine's zombie-comedy-romance Warm Bodies. The film stars Nicholas Hoult as a fleshy zombie--a distinct caste above the untouchable skeletal zombies--who begins to rediscover his former humanity by way of, essentially, posthumous horniness, his death erection pointing him toward a wrong-side-of-the-tracks affair with the lovely, still-living Teresa Palmer. Can their love, like the zombie plague itself, spread, and somehow turn the walking dead into the LOVING DEAD, with symbolically-glowing E.T. heartbeats? Spoiler: yeah, it sort of looks like it.

With Channing Tatum and Zac Efron moving on, both eagerly following the slick trail to Matthew McConaughey's sweaty torso, the mawkish romance commission has seen fit to install a new shirtless military patrol to keep close watch over the longing gaze of blondes. Recently recruited at the mall while promoting The Hunger Games, Liam Hesmworth is now being stationed in Love and Honor, a Nicholas Sparks-like movie that doesn't carry the author's brand but still manages to capture the signature sweet-n-salty taste of saccharine and tears. Here's the trailer. If your sole criterion for quality is self-satisfied smirking, it looks pretty solid.

That '70s Show writers/executive producers Jackie and Jeff Filgo, their wings at last un-clipped from the world of 1970s-based Topher Grace situation comedy, are using their newfound freedom to soar to new creative heights: 1980s-based Topher Grace situation comedy! In Take Me Home Tonight--written by the duo, directed by Michael Dowse, and suspiciously shelved for a few years after these production photos were taken--Grace plays a recent MIT graduate unable to face the responsibility of a real job, instead finding work at a humorous reference to a now-defunct retail chain, Suncoast. Can he get his shit together with the help of the inherent guffaws of '80s fashion and clichéd party scenes with Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, and would-be love interest Teresa Palmer? Let's hope so.

The search for the girl who's going to kiss Spider-Man at the end of the film--making his transformation into super-strong bug man all worth it--is in full swing, and word is the part producers are looking to fill is not Mary Jane. Heat Vision has heard Peter Parker's longtime ginger squeeze won't be the love interest in 500 Days of Summer-director Marc Webb's upcoming superhero film, though it remains unclear if that means the female lead will be Spider-Man's canonical first crush, Gwen Stacy, or a new character possibly named after a season. And while there are quite a few names in contention right now, it seems these are the current frontrunners to star alongside Andrew Garfield (left to right, above):

The Sorcerer's Apprentice: it's more than just Alfred Molina wielding magic sperm cloaked in The Abyss! Though, clearly the above image reveals it is at least partially that. But it's also people shooting other magic things at each other! See:

When you need to cast a raven-haired, muscular amazon woman, a lot of people would turn to the obvious choice. That is, a woman with any of those traits.
But if you're Justice League of America director George Miller, your 62-year-old mind tells you what you need is the most slight, aryan-looking girl you can find. According to several sources, he's done just that, casting the giddy Teresa Palmer in the role of Wonder Woman. (Here she is looking drowned.)
Maybe once she's done some strength training, dyed her hair, and grown a foot this will all make sense.
