'Raiders of the Lost Ark', in Its Entirety, as an Animated Gif

Where was this when I was sprucing up my Angelfire homepage? This kicks the shit out of a spinning, flaming skull.

If you'd like to see Raiders of the Lost Ark again, but larger than before, you're in luck: cashing in on the whole "let's re-release this popular movie in a flashy format" thing that's recently made a bunch of money for Titanic and The Lion King, Paramount is putting the first Indiana Jones film back in IMAX theaters for a week next month.
The man who brought us the brilliant, well-crafted trailer for Ghostbusters (if it were made in 1954) has at last satisfied our collective desire for more trailers for modern movies as if they were made way back when. This time we've got Raiders of the Lost Ark starring Charlton Heston and Forrest Gump with Jimmy Stewart.
As a warning, I think the trailer for Raiders of the Lost Ark (1951) includes spoilers if you haven't seen the 1951 version of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Ready to take your Indiana Jones fandom to the next level? Mystery Man on Film has posted a 125-page transcript of George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan brainstorming what would become the character of Indiana Jones (née Smith) and the film Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's like an origin story of the origin story, and overall a pretty good read. Who would believe the idea of adding a fourth, lackluster chapter thirty years later wasn't part of the original schema?
