Warner Bros. Just Going To Start Over on This 'Justice League' Thing

Warner Bros.' long-developing Justice League, set for a 2015 release but still not beyond a script, has a new problem: that script is very bad!

Warner Bros.' long-developing Justice League, set for a 2015 release but still not beyond a script, has a new problem: that script is very bad!

Warner Bros. has reportedly found its Justice League villain, even if Ryan Reynolds isn't yet clear if he's supposed to show up and fight this guy or what.

This rumor pretty much had to happen, right?

Will Zack Snyder's Man of Steel be establishing the mythos and desaturated hues of Warner Bros.' planned superhero team-up, Justice League? Maybe!

Well, looks like 2015 is going to be a pretty rich with rubber-covered actors, if that's what you're into.

The Dark Knight Rises is still in theaters raking in money, but with Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale officially out of the Batman game, Warner Bros. is of course already pondering how they'll introduce the world to their next generation of reluctant Mountain Dew spokesman. Their solution? Probably just toss him in with Aquaman and whoever.

If Ben Affleck won't do it--and he won't--then maybe the Wachowskis will make that Justice League movie.

The Town proved Ben Affleck could handle both action and goofy costumes, and Warner Bros. wants that expertise and ability to command a Superman-looking dude on their Justice League project.

Green Lantern bombed, the last attempt at a Wonder Woman looked like this, Christian Bale is through with growling, and Superman remains a question mark Zack Snyder is constructing in thrilling slow-motion. But with Avengers proving superhero team-ups to be ridiculously big business, Warner Bros. is going to see if they can't get their own supergroup going with the heroes of the DC Comics universe.
