'Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie' Clip Worth It Just To Watch Will Forte's Gestural "Aw, Phooey That!"

This past weekend, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim made their feature film debut with the premiere of Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, their cilm that presumably delighted expectant Sundance crowds with the long-awaited sight of Chef Goldblum. For those of us not at Sundance, we can see the film on demand starting Friday and in theaters March 2, but until then, here's a clip featuring Tim, Eric, and two seconds of Will Forte that should be made into a gif to loop for eternity. It's no Chef Goldblum, but it's something.

The NSFW, Chef Goldblum-Inclusive 'Tim & Eric' Trailer

Just two days after being introduced to the word "shrim," already a new Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie trailer has arrived replete with the usual crazy shit, notsafeforworks content, and appearances by Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Will Forte, Robert Loggia, a suction-cup dildo, and the '80s' greatest red-headed villain, William Atherton. They had me at Chef Goldblum.

Tim & Eric Start Billion Dollar Movie, Trent Reznor's a Vampire, Darth Maul in 3-D, Bridget Jones, and More

- Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have begun shooting on their first feature, Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, and Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Robert Loggia, Jeff Goldblum, Will Forte, and mf'ing William Atherton are all set to appear. Will your brain be able to handle Tim and Eric absurdity delivered by the 1980s' greatest screen prick? I fear mine won't.

- Barry Levinson is attached to direct O.K.C., a script that follows a young attorney on bomber Timothy McVeigh's defense team. My junior high Social Studies class will be taking the day off to watch this.

- Recent Oscar winner Trent Reznor will score Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. He'll also appear as a vampire in the film, retroactively justifying all the '90s teenagers that used a variation of "VampireNIN" as their AOL screenname.

- A new Bridget Jones diary (likely) begets a new Bridget Jones movie--now with even more squandered Oscar cred! (via)

- Sick of all the films about vampires, zombies, and aliens? Good, because DreamWorks Animation is really banking on everyone liking witches with Rumblewick.

- If you're eager to see Jar Jar's ears(?) flapping around in the third dimension, the 3-D conversion of The Phantom Menace will be in theaters February 10, 2012. Just in time to make for the loneliest Valentine's Day ever.

Tarantino Already Finished That Western Script, 'Devil May Cry' Getting a Movie, Miyazaki Shorts, Spider-Man Sweats, and More

- These new Amazing Spider-Man set shots are notable because it's definitely star Andrew Garfield in the suit this time, and because Spider-Man is wearing sweatpants. Perhaps this is part of a larger theme.

- FX has greenlighted a pilot for a series based on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's superhero police procedural comic, Powers, and Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff could be up for the female lead. That should hold off any kind of geek revolt for a couple more years.

- It turns out Tarantino isn't "still writing" a spaghetti Western. He's already finished it.

- Christ, another video game adaptation: Screen Gems--the studio behind Resident Evil--is adapting Capcom's Devil May Cry for theaters. Just assume it won't be very good.

- March 26, Carnegie Hall is showing two rare shorts from legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki--Yado-Sagashi (House Hunting) and Mizugumo Monmon (Mon Mon the Water Spider)--for the first time in the US. Please, wear your formal cat ears.

- IWS reader Jimbob felt I'd been remiss in ignoring last week's rumor anti-humor experts Tim and Eric might be doing a feature-length film with John C. Reilly and a healthy list of other comedy favorites. SORRY.

- Mark Wahlberg talked to Slater about possibly doing a sequel to The Fighter, prompting this response:

Tim and Eric's 'The Terrys' Trailer: Yup, That's a Tim and Eric

terrys-trailer.jpg

Tim and Eric have a short film premiering at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and if you're wondering if getting Sundance recognition means Tim and Eric have made something less Tim and Eric-y than usual, you should stop wondering that. It looks Tim and Eric-y as all get out:
