Rumor of a Yoda stand-alone movie, right in front of us just yesterday, has already faded away, leaving behind new spin-off rumors and a really shitty blanket it was draped in.
Now, reports EntertainmentWeekly, the likeliest options for those Star Wars stand-alone films Simon Kinberg and Lawrence Kasdan have been writing are Boba Fett and a young Han Solo. They claim sources close to the project say one of the films will focus on a pre-Harrison Ford Han Solo, taking place sometime after Revenge of the Sith and before A New Hope. The other would take place parallel to the original trilogy and go the extremely obvious route of following Boba Fett, the fanboy favorite largely thought to be the series' best listener.
Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to comment on the matter, so for now, continue to treat all these spin-off subjects as rumor, and feel free to suggest your own variously-viable character options.
Maybe we could follow this guy through his 18-month sentence for exposing himself to a junior high field trip group?
