With Spielberg's war against robots postponed indefinitely, luddite Chris Hemsworth has been forced to find a new outlet for his rampant distrust of the cyber menace.
So, he's turned to Michael Mann, who's just cast him in a Legendary Pictures' untitled thriller set to be Mann's first directing effort since his Luck pilot kicked off a successful nine-episode run of horse genocide. Mann co-wrote the script alongside Morgan Davis Foehl, who's also penning Legendary's Mass Effect adaptation. Variety says plot details are not yet known, except that the film "takes place in a world of cyber threats and attacks." And that there will be a lot of scenes where the cyber crimes expert is struggling to effectively use a keyboard around his pecs.
