Michael Bay Welcomes Megan Fox Back into the Family of Toys with 'Ninja Turtles'


Remember how Megan Fox called Michael Bay "Hitler," then subsequently got fired from Transformers, replaced by another collection of shapes Bay found similarly desirable? Well, despite their bad blood, it seems Fox and Bay will put it all aside in the name of action figures, bound by their vow to forever and always excite 12-year-old boys.

"TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family," Bay posted on his blog yesterday, marking the first time there's been any progress on the project since it was shut down to fix its terrible script. Variety has since clarified that Fox's role is of April O'Neil, jumpsuit-wearing reporter and basically the only significant female presence in the Ninja Turtles universe.

Elizabeth Olsen, Jane Levy, and Anna Kendrick had reportedly already tested for the role. Unfortunately, while all fine actresses, none were able to adequately do this against a popped-open turtle shell:
