The new year is upon us, and to ring in 2013, Michel Gondry decided to do more than just his usual dropping of a tinfoil ball and uncorking of a foamy bottle of cotton batting and half-remembered dreams. This year, the director has wished us a happy new year with a new animated short called Haircut Mouse, naturally because it's about a mouse opening an unlicensed barber shop. Such are the visions Michel Gondry sees when curls up in his adult mouse costume, closes his eyes, and lays down in a pile of hay below a giant prop gun (spoiler: that is not a joke).
