'Hot Tub Time Machine' Sequel Probably Happening
The rich story potentials of a hot tub that is also a time machine being what they are, MGM has reportedly started discussions to craft a sequel to the 2010 comedy Hot Tub Time Machine.
Insiders speaking to THR say the studio has started so-called "exploratory talks" with most of the main cast, asking Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke if they might be willing to again all crawl in a hot tub together, or if that would be weird. John Cusack has, at this point, not been contacted, his omission perhaps being seen as a way to cut costs and bump profits higher than the $28 million netted from the original. Corddry is reportedly in talks to help director Steve Pink with the script, and though it is not yet clear what their premise will be, a lap pool gender adjuster seems as good a starting point as any.
