Having suitably harassed Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher, Werner Herzog moves on to study another alien culture dubious of medicine with Happy People: A Year in the Taiga. Co-directed by Dmitry Vasyukov, the documentary takes a rarely-seen look at the Siberia's Bakhtia, an isolated village without roads, medical aid, or telephones but it looks like a decent amount of snow. But hey, word is they're pretty content with that, so good for them.
