First Look at 'The Desolation of Smaug' (The Next 'Hobbit' Movie We're Getting)
Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly jumped ahead to bring us a first look at the final film of The Hobbit trilogy--the one that won't really be based on The Hobbit so much as "some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings." Today they edge back a bit to show us a first look at The Desolation of Smaug, the second film, with an image that should make sense to anyone who's read The Hobbit.
