In a ceremony involving Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Ed Helms--sexy AND funny, just like awards shows!--Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly this morning announced the nominations for the 70th Annual Golden Globes. In the motion pictures categories, Lincoln leads the pack with 7 nominations, including Best Director, Best Motion Picture (Drama), and Best Lincoln (Shrill). Richard Gere and Jack Black could hypothetically end up our best actors. And remember the painfully inoffensive romantic dramedy Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, starring Emily Blunt, Ewan McGregor, and salmon? The Hollywood Foreign Press did. They really liked it.
