We've looked at Rejected Pitches once before when they tackled Robert Zemeckis's hypothetical rejected Back to the Future pitch; now, the group behind the comedy series is taking a look at the failed proposal of another high-concept childhood classic with a Home Alone rejected pitch, starring Michael Delaney as an increasingly-frustrated John Hughes. It turns out not every meeting went as smoothly as Mr. Mom:
In fairness, Home Alone is sort of an insane, street-fight, house-torture fetish movie. And if you're going to make that, you might as well just make a Straw Dogs Christmas special.
