'The Impossible' Trailer: Ewan McGregor Also on the Hunt for His Family, in Thailand


Ut oh, Liam Neeson, you've got some competition in the "British/Jedi dad searching for his family in a foreign land" department. Here's the trailer for The Impossible, starring Ewan McGregor as a patriarch using his particular set of skills to hunt down his abducted child and wife (Naomi Watts). His skills? Fatherly love and a rakish, charming grin. The abductor? Just a shit-ton of water. Turns out December, 2004 was not a very good time to take a holiday in Thailand, Ewan McGregor:
