Looking to extend his television presence beyond recent appearances on Louie, Wilfred, and that Law & Order: SVU rerun where he pretends to be a cop, Robin Williams is reportedly considering a return to a regular series for the first time since his Mork heyday.

Stalwart television handbook TV Guide claims the actor is attached to star in The Crazy Ones, a single-camera sitcom CBS is currently eyeing for pickup. The comedy comes from the mind of David E. Kelly (Ally McBeal, The Practice, Boston Legal, L.A. Law, Harry's Law), and surprisingly does not involve a quirky, sexy law firm; instead, it looks at a quirky, possibly-sexy ad firm, with Williams playing "an aging but brilliant advertising exec" who works alongside--get this!--his daughter. Ut ohhhh! The image of an exasperated Robin Williams above the tagline "Ad Dad" should be expected at most bus shelters.
