Hoffman plays an L. Ron Hubbard-esque cult leader, and this trailer also imparts a little more of that character's questionable, decidedly-unscientific wisdom, with a Hoffman voiceover explaining that mankind exists in a spiritual realm well above animals, which are mere beasts. Someone needs to show this guy that skateboarding dog.
