New 'The Master' Trailer: Amy Adams Shoots a Rifle, Delights
Hey, The Master has a new trailer, and it comes filled with such Paul Thomas Anderson signatures as a persistent, off-putting banging noise and a Philip Seymour Hoffman in a memorable supporting role. Hoffman plays an L. Ron Hubbard-esque cult leader, and this trailer also imparts a little more of that character's questionable, decidedly-unscientific wisdom, with a Hoffman voiceover explaining that mankind exists in a spiritual realm well above animals, which are mere beasts. Someone needs to show this guy that skateboarding dog.
