Jim Carrey Wanted for 'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall'
With a costumed stunt with Conan O'Brien establishing an interest in Kick-Ass and a surprising willingness to dress up in a full-body leotard, even after Batman Forever, Jim Carrey is reportedly being courted by Universal for a role in Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.
Already a well-regarded fire marshal, Carrey would be a Colonel now, says Deadline, who describes the character as a man who "helps galvanize the team of misfit super heroes assembled to fight evil." Should Carrey agree to fill in for the dearth of manic energy felt after Nicolas Cage's departure from the first film, he'd join returning cast that includes Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Chloe Moretz, as well as newcomers Donald Faison (of Scrubs) and John Leguizamo. The Mask and The Pest: together at last.
