Someone Really Is Writing 'Ghostbusters 3', and We Know Who

It seems Dan Aykroyd's claim of a new Ghostbusters 3 writing staff was not just an empty promise filling our heads with his vodka of lies.
According to Variety, Sony Pictures has now brought on Etan Cohen to rewrite the film's script in the hopes that Bill Murray will either find it agreeable or finally get written out in one draft or another. Cohen started in features with scripts for Idiocracy and Tropic Thunder, and most recently was somehow the only credited writer of the many who contributed to Men in Black III's script, so he's got some experience doctoring unusable screenplays for long-dormant sci-fi-comedy trilogy-closers that probably shouldn't even be made--which, hey, that's the very specific thing Sony needs someone to do! So Etan Cohen will do that for them, and behold, there will be a great earthquake, and the sun shall become as black as sackcloth, and the moon become as blood, and the seas will boil and the skies will fall, and I still really don't think Bill Murray is going to sign on to this, but whatever.
