Devo Documentary Has a Trailer, Could Use Some Money
Informative for both the die-hard Devo devotee and the person who makes the Devo devotee angry for calling Devo "the 'Whip It' guys?", Are We Not Men? is an authorized, feature-length documentary that gives a never-before-seen look at Akron, Ohio's most enduring, influential post-punk-art-rock-ish group. Director Tony Pemberton and his team are shooting for a September release, so have a look at the trailer below and, if you can, lend some support on the film's Kickstarter (via) that they might get this thing finished. Only then can they move forward on a sequel documentary about those children Disney put together as an inexplicable Devo cover band.
