Amanda Plummer Will Be a Hunger Gamer Too

Amanda Plummer--who most will probably remember as Tim Roth's Honey Bunny in Pulp Fiction--has officially joined the cast of The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.

In keeping with her increasingly-bedraggled metamorphosis into Carol Kane, Plummer will play a notably eccentric character named Wiress, a returning tribute who communicates in cryptic utterances only decipherable by a close companion and, eventually, Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss. Because of this, Wiress's fellow tributes give her the nickname "Nuts"--a reference to how her going around saying "tick tock" over and over sounds pretty nuts if you don't know what she's talking about. It isn't a reference to testicles. Tribute siblings "Gloss and Cashmere" still might be, though, so hold out some hope.
