Jerry O'Connell Will Be Our Herman Munster

Because when Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller sees Jerry O'Connell, he sees Frankenstein, not the guy from Sliders, O'Connell (the guy from Sliders, and some other things) has been cast as Herman Munster in Mockingbird Lane, the dramatic Munsters reboot Fuller and director/producer Bryan Singer are making for NBC. O'Connell joins previously-cast Grandpa Munster, Eddie Izzard, and brings with him all the experience of playing a suburban neighbor with a secret that comes with having been star of My Secret Identity.
