Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy Teaming for Buddy Cop Comedy

Now that she's got her Oscar, time to for Sandra Bullock to return to the world of hilarious FBI antics.

THR reports she'll be playing "an uptight FBI agent" in an untitled comedy that place her alongside Bridesmaids breakout Melissa McCarthy, who's playing "an unconventional Boston cop"--a character whose disconnect from convention, I can only assume, will extend to unconventional discussion of her gastrointestinal system. Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is expected to executive produce and direct from a script by Parks and Recreation writer Katie Dippold. Bullock's character is expected to finally loosen up a bit and maybe find love thanks to a wild comic adventure that will see her loud-mouthed Boston partner somehow end up saving her life, you just wait and see.
