Pauly Shore, Andy Dick May Enlist 'In the Army Now', Again

Finally, a sequel to Pauly Shore's third-highest grossing comedy (below Encino Man and Son-in-Law, above Bio-Dome and Jury Duty). Someone would just have to pay for that to happen.

The ever-reliable Andy Dick first alluded to the striking military development on his web show, where he reminded everyone he was in In the Army Now by proposing a sequel in which he and fellow soldier P. Shore would save Katy Perry, or something. Said Pvt. Dick:

"I've always said we should do 'In the Army Again' ... We should rescue Katy Perry from a USO show gone bad or something."

Adding credence to this claim, fellow serviceman Pauly Shore has since confirmed to TMZ that Dick has, in fact, always said this. Furthermore, perhaps unsurprisingly, Pauly Shore is more than willing to go along with this plan of making another Pauly Shore movie. But rather than just blindly wheezing Dick's juice, Shore does acknowledge some practical issues with the obviously-good idea of a sequel to In the Army Now, explaining:

"Andy has wanted to do it for awhile ... if they put up the money and the studio lets us do it ... I'm down to make it happen!"

Sounds like we've finally got a worthwhile use for Kickstarter/Lori Petty.
