Stephenie Meyer has more stories in her than Halloween-themed semi-erotica, you guys. She also wrote The Host, about some alien "Souls" that invade Earth by taking over human brains. It's like the Star Trek: TNG with the parasitic freaks, or the Futurama with the brain slugs, except instead of these aliens leeches being gross little awfuls, they apparently just make your eyes pretty. Too pretty.
Because this is the author of Twilight we're talking about, The Host is quickly being readied for a movie directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Saoirse Ronan.
