Quentin Tarantino Chooses His 2011 Top 11 (11 So As To Make Room for 'Three Musketeers', Duh)

Well, last night the Hollywood Foreign Press had their shot at naming the top films of 2011, and now it's Quentin Tarantino's turn to say, "Hold on, guys, you forgot The Three Musketeers!" Through fan site The Quentin Tarantino Archives, the director has posted his top 11 (or 12, technically) films of the last year, and while he hits such critically-praised picks as The Artist and Midnight in Paris, he also made room for such contrarian fare as Paul W.S. Anderson's Three Musketeers and Kevin Smith's Red State. He even added on an unordered "other films he liked" section just to make sure Green Lantern would at last be regarded alongside War Horse and above Drive, which Tarantino placed with Drive Angry on a lower-tier list labeled "nice try awards." Sorry, kitschy, driving-based genre films, but you'll have to add some intentional film scratches if you want Q.T.'s affections.
