First Official Look at 'Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters', A Film So Leather-Clad It Needs No Punctuation

From EntertainmentWeekly, above is our first official look at Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner in costume as the title characters of Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters--Paramount's upcoming action film that imagines the children of the famous Brothers Grimm tale as adults who continue to hunt witches semi-professionally, in leather.

While refrained from describing the sorts of deals they evidently got at the Van Helsing warehouse sale, studios reps did come forward to provide one new piece of information regarding the film: it turns out we've all been spelling it wrong. Everyone including the IMDb has been labeling the film Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, but according to EW's studio contact, "the title is Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters, with no colon." Why worry about grammatical logic when you've got all this awesome witch hunting, right?

A Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters trailer is expected late next week, so Paramount had better hurry and tack on some superfluous quotation marks if they really want to commit to the full deli signage standard of punctuation.
