Angelina Jolie & Luc Besson Teaming for Film Boasting TRUE SCIENTIFIC ELEMENTS
In a partnership that could create a powerful near-monopoly in the thin-hot-action-lady business, Angelina Jolie and Luc Besson may be teaming up on a thriller in the near future. The project is reportedly a "big-scale" film closer in tone to Besson's earlier work--more La Femme Nikita than his recent biopic, The Lady--and it's described as a "dramatic thriller that is rooted in true scientific elements," which are some of our most convincing scientific elements.
Obviously, there should be some concern that this collaboration between the star of Salt and Wanted and the director of The Fifth Element holds the potential to place too much of our thin-hot-action-lady power in the lithe, attractive hands of too few, but don't worry about it too much. Milla Jovovich's divorce from Besson and subsequent marriage to Resident Evil director Paul W. S. Anderson, and Kate Beckinsale's vows to Underworld director Len Wiseman, have created a division of power that, for now, means you can rest well knowing the forces of ridiculously-large handguns are split amongst the slender wrists of those too frail to possibly wield them.
