Earlier today Forrest Gump was added to the National Film Registry, and now already a major film organization has announced, "Hey, remember the film that begat the Bubba Gump restaurant chain?" It's the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who today released an Oscars poster that remembers not only Forrest Gump but also correctly identifies The Godfather, Driving Miss Daisy, Gladiator, and The Sound of Music as films. Well done, everyone:
