
Always eager to play any character running around with a pistol, Clive Owen has signed on to star in Moonstone Entertainment's new action film, Recall. Owen will play an NSA agent trying to work out the details of a failed hostage rescue and quickly learning that he can't trust anyone--including HIS OWN MIND, claims Variety, so expect director Harold Becker to spin some 360-degree shots around Owen to show how crazy confused he is. Lending some much-needed credibility to what would otherwise be just another Clive Owen shoot 'em up--like Shoot 'Em Up, for example--respected screenwriter Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull wrote the film's script, hinting that there may be more to the story than just Owen shooting dudes. He'll probably recklessly drive a car, too.
