- Olivia Wilde, Michelle Monaghan, Judy Greer, Sarah Silverman, and Jessica Biel are all on the shortlist for the Steve Carell-Jim Carrey magician comedy Burt Wonderstone's female lead. So clearly producers have a clear vision for that character: someone with a vagina.

- Sean Penn will direct Robert De Niro and Kristen Wiig in The Comedian, a drama that will see De Niro playing an aging comic trying to reclaim his former fame. That's what Law & Order: SVU guest spots are for, Bobby D.

- Jason Segel and Reese Witherspoon have been offered the leads in Sex Tape, a comedy about a couple that makes a sex tape, loses it, and goes on a wild search to find it before anyone has to live through a Jason Segel-Reese Witherspoon sex tape.
