Sorry, purists, but it looks like lack of visual underwear isn't the only change in Superman's costume. While half-heartedly miming a rope pull on the set of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, new Superman Henry Cavill was spotted in a costume that, free of the natural shadows of an exploding cartoon safe, seems to possess a functionless belt buckle--much like what J.J. Abrams was planning in his failed effort--rubbery metal wristbands, and just enough other things glued on to ensure a hugely divisive reaction on the internet.
