Beyoncé Contains Too Much Baby To Do 'A Star is Born' Just Now, and DiCaprio Won't Do It at All
With Beyoncé's VMA pregnancy announcement came the promise of a new Destiny Child that could one day be forcefully shoved into the spotlight, where the young autocelebrity could thrive and hopefully eventually create a super-spawn with a Smith kid. But it wasn't all good news if you're Clint Eastwood. Unfortunately for him, the pregnancy likely means a delay for his plans to do another remake of A Star Is Born, as his updated script for the musical romance will not allow for Beyoncé to always be carrying around a laundry basket.
As it turns out, though, Eastwood may have needed the extra time anyway. According to Deadline, the director's plan to woo his J. Edgar star Leonardo DiCaprio into the male lead didn't take, and an apologetic DiCaprio has run back into the waiting arms of Martin Scorsese, and the reunited couple can't wait to do a remake of The Gambler together. Don't be mad now that you see that Scorsese want it, Clint. Beyoncé told you what you needed to do.
