- Here's a new still from Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin that will be ideal when Tintin gets his poster in the American Library Association's READ series. (via)

- We already knew that Disney had been hoping to milk a couple more Pirates of the Caribbean sequels out of Johnny Depp, but now that On Stranger Tides has made literally a billion fucking dollars, they're getting a little more serious about it and are reportedly nearing a deal with the actor. It must be so annoying for them that, at this point, they've rented Depp's soul so long it would have probably been cheaper to just buy it outright from the start.

- NBC's The Office is going to have a new CEO at Dunder Mifflin's parent company, Sabre, and that man's name is James Spader. HEARD OF HIM?

- 300's Rodrigo Santoro has signed on to join Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Anna Kendrick, Brooklyn Decker, Chris Rock, and Matthew Morrison in What To Expect When You're Expecting. I have the feeling that somehow still won't be enough actors, so expect to hear some more casting in coming days.

- Paramount is launching their own animation division, appropriately named Paramount Animation. According to the official release, "[their] mandate will be the development of the broadest range of family CGI animated films." Which is good, because I think we all have been thinking that CGI family films weren't broad enough. These will be broadest!
