Lionsgate Stretching 'Hunger Games' Trilogy to Four Films

Author Suzanne Collins' senseless decision to contain her trilogy to only three books sure isn't gong to stop Lionsgate from getting a fourth ticket purchase out of you. This morning, Lionsgate executives had a chat with Wall Street analysts and assured them to not worry, because they are going to make a fucking ton of money off this thing--partially because, like Warner Bros. with Harry Potter and Summit with Twilight, they're apparently going to split the last book up. Which is annoying because, as anyone who's seen me eat a burrito knows, when I'm getting to the end, I'd much rather just wad it all up and get it over with in one massive, disgusting gulp. You know, so you get a little bit of everything in that bite.
