Next December's release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey already made Christmas 2012 an exciting time for high fantasy nerds. Now it will also be a time of revelry for freed-slave revenge nerds, as the Weinstein Company has revealed the release date of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained: December 25, 2012. (That's Christmas Day, pagans.)
Of course, QT still has the issue of sorting out who's even going to play the lead in his film, so he'd better get that sorted out pretty soon here if he's going to make that date. Someone call Chris Tucker.
