'Page One: A Year Inside the New York Times' Trailer Takes You on Field Trip to Where They Do Newspapers
Print journalism may be dying--overtaken more and more by a mix of new digital media and people just trusting their hunches about what's going on around them, because reading is sort of a hassle--but for now The New York Times forges on, standing proudly as a trusted periodical that your dad vocally dubs a liberal rag. Still though, who knows how long that will be the case, so probably better to take a look at the famous establishment now rather than later. Director Andrew Rossi did just that, spending a year inside the Times and assembling his footage into a new documentary that looks at just how The Gray Lady is put together. The secret? Writers.
Looks intriguing but, like The New York Times, I'm sort of only interested if they'll let me see it online, and for free.
